This blue spirulina juice is full of superfoods! The mint and cucumber paired with a crisp apple is refreshing on the tastebuds. This juice is lightly sweetened with maple to balance out the kick of ginger. Add a touch of extra ginger if you prefer the spice, you won't regret it!

Ingredients
2applesI prefer Honeycrisp but any variety works
1cucumber
1inchof ginger root
a small handful of fresh mint
1tspblue sprirulina powder
2-3tspof maple depending on preferred sweetness
cubed iceoptional
Instructions
Gather your ingredients and wash your produce.
Cut up the apple (leave the skin on), cucumber and ginger root. The size of chunks will vary depending on your juicer and its recommended capacity for larger chunks of fruit and veggies.
Turn on your juicer and begin adding the apple, cucumber, ginger, and mint to the juicer. I like to alternate between the ingredients when feeding my juicer. Feed all of the apple, cucumber, ginger, and mint into your juicer.
Empty the juice contents into a container large enough to stir or froth the remaining ingredients in.
Add the blue spirulina powder and maple to your juice.
Stir all the ingredients until combined. I sometimes prefer to use a frother or aggressive stir to keep the blue spriulina powder from clumping.
Pour into a glass with ice and enjoy!
